Brand, website, and app design for a children's digital safety company.

I joined Tedio, a nonprofit startup working on educating parents on child internet safety, as the Head of Design. Over three months, I developed a full brand system, a simple website, and experimental designs for a potential app.

BRANDING

Building the brand

Tedio's main goal was to appeal to parents, positioning themselves as a trustworthy, research-backed company.

To achieve this, I chose a comforting serif paired with a classy sans serif, a soft cream and saturated pastel palette, and designed a butterfly logo meant to embody children seeking natural forms of dopamine instead of screens.

WIREFRAMING

Exploratory app designs

As they explored different products, Tedio wanted to develop an app for parents that analyzed children's viewing habits, identified behavioral patterns, and suggested activities to fix negative habits.

Drawing inspiration from apps like Headspace and How We Feel, I designed some exploratory wireframes to visualize the experience.
